Job Brief
As an AOC Plans Intelligence Officer Chief, you will oversee the management and operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems critical for air, ground, and naval operations. This leadership role requires extensive experience in military operations, strategic planning, and crisis management. You will be responsible for coordinating emergency response strategies, evaluating command center information, and ensuring operational readiness through effective surveillance and detection systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage and operate communications systems to facilitate seamless coordination between air, naval, and ground forces.
- Formulate and implement emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and collaborate with agencies to ensure efficient disaster response.
- Evaluate and analyze command center information for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to maintain situational awareness.
- Provide technical guidance on capabilities, operational readiness, and system functionalities.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support tactical missions.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mission-critical operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in military operations, intelligence analysis, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of military communication and weapons systems.
- Familiarity with emergency management protocols and crisis response strategies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions rapidly.
- Active security clearance may be required based on operational needs.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for intelligence and operations management.
