Job Brief
The AOC Plans Guidance Apportionment And Targeting Officer Chief plays a critical role in overseeing the operation of communications, detection, and weapons systems that are vital for air, ground, and naval operations. This position requires extensive experience in military operations and systems management, as well as strong leadership and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will effectively manage communication links between forces, devise emergency response plans, and ensure operational readiness through technical guidance and oversight.
Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Formulate and implement emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and agencies to ensure readiness and effective response.
- Evaluate command center information and prepare high-level military and government reports as necessary.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems to ensure situational awareness.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities and operational readiness to senior leadership.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems.
- Implement best practices for system operation and develop training programs for personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Military Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations or systems management.
- Strong understanding of communications, detection, and weapon systems.
- Proven experience in emergency response planning and execution.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using command and control systems and related software.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations.
- Certification in relevant military operations or systems management is preferred.
