The AOC Operations Combat Search And Rescue Officer is a critical role responsible for managing the operation of advanced communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for controlling air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and operate communications, detection, and weapons systems to ensure seamless integration of air, ground, and naval operations.
- Establish and maintain critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to facilitate real-time decision-making.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural and wartime disasters, ensuring preparedness and effective response.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and governmental agencies during crisis situations to optimize resource deployment.
- Evaluate command center information to assess operational needs and prepare high-level military and government reports.
- Manage the operation of surveillance and detection systems to enhance situational awareness and operational readiness.
- Provide technical information and expert advice on capabilities, system readiness, and operational effectiveness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure precision and safety during missions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Military Science, Emergency Management, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in military operations, specifically in combat search and rescue or related roles.
- Proficient in operating and managing military communication systems, detection technologies, and weapons systems.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
- In-depth knowledge of military protocols, emergency management procedures, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple agencies and command structures.
- Relevant certifications in emergency management or military operations are preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational effectiveness.
