Job Brief
The AOC Information Operations Staff Officer plays a critical role in managing communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for effective air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities
- Manage and operate critical communication systems between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operational coordination.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for both natural and wartime disasters, ensuring preparedness and effective crisis management.
- Coordinate with emergency response teams and agencies to streamline operations during critical incidents.
- Evaluate command center information to assess the need for high-level military and government reporting.
- Oversee the operation of surveillance and detection systems, ensuring optimal functionality and responsiveness.
- Provide technical information and advice regarding capabilities and operational readiness to command staff.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems, ensuring precision and reliability in tactical scenarios.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as military science, information technology, or engineering.
- Proven experience in military operations or related fields, with a focus on information operations.
- Strong understanding of communication systems, surveillance technology, and weapons systems operations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate under pressure.
- Experience in developing and executing emergency response strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively coordinate with diverse teams.
- Relevant certifications in information operations or military strategy are preferred.
