Job Brief
As an Airline Reservationist, you will play a crucial role in managing customer reservations and providing exceptional service to travelers. Your primary responsibilities will include making and confirming transportation bookings, processing ticket sales, and providing valuable travel information to clients. Responsibilities
- Make and confirm reservations for transportation and lodging, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Sell transportation tickets and process payments in accordance with company policies.
- Check baggage and guide passengers to their designated concourse, pier, or track.
- Deliver tickets and provide information to individuals and groups regarding travel packages and tours.
- Assist tourists by offering travel and transportation information, enhancing their travel experience.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to bookings or travel arrangements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline policies, procedures, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with travel partners and other departments to ensure seamless customer service.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or travel management is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Airline Reservationist or in a similar customer service role within the travel industry.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and ticketing software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of travel regulations and procedures is preferred.
