Job Brief
The Aircraft Refueler is responsible for efficiently servicing aircraft with fuel and ensuring the operational readiness of various aircraft systems. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Service aircraft with high-quality fuel and ensure accurate fueling operations.
- Perform de-icing procedures to maintain aircraft safety in adverse weather conditions.
- Refill water and cooling agents, ensuring all systems function optimally.
- Empty sewage tanks and service air and oxygen systems as required.
- Conduct routine inspections of fueling equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of aircraft exteriors through regular cleaning and polishing.
- Document fuel transactions and maintain accurate records for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with flight crews and ground staff to ensure timely and efficient aircraft servicing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in aviation services preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate fueling vehicles.
- Experience in aircraft fueling, maintenance, or related field is advantageous.
- Knowledge of aviation safety standards and fuel handling procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Certification in hazardous materials handling and safety procedures is a plus.
