Job Brief
As an Aircraft Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, construction, and testing of aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft. This position requires a solid understanding of aerodynamics, propulsion systems, and materials science. You will be responsible for conducting research to evaluate the adaptability of materials and equipment for aircraft design and manufacturing, as well as recommending improvements in testing equipment and techniques. Responsibilities
- Design and develop aircraft systems, including propulsion, controls, and avionics.
- Conduct rigorous testing on aircraft prototypes to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and components effectively.
- Analyze test data and generate reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Research new materials and technologies to enhance aircraft design and performance.
- Recommend modifications and improvements to existing aircraft designs and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure all engineering practices comply with industry regulations and standards.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in aircraft design, testing, and engineering processes.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with aviation regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
