Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Air Pollution Control Engineer to design, implement, and oversee strategies aimed at preventing and controlling air pollution. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in environmental engineering and be adept at utilizing various engineering disciplines to address environmental hazards. Key responsibilities include conducting air quality assessments, developing pollution control technologies, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct air quality assessments and analyze data to identify pollution sources and levels.
- Design and implement air pollution control systems and technologies.
- Develop and manage projects focused on air quality improvement and compliance.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure adherence to environmental laws and standards.
- Perform site assessments and remediation planning for contaminated air environments.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct research on emerging pollution control technologies and methods.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in pursuit of licensure.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in air quality management or pollution control engineering.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, including the Clean Air Act.
- Proficiency in air quality modeling software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
