Job Brief
The Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technologist plays a crucial role in the aerospace industry by operating, installing, adjusting, and maintaining integrated computer and communication systems, simulators, and data acquisition instruments. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain integrated computer and communications systems used in air and space vehicle operations.
- Install, adjust, and troubleshoot consoles, simulators, and data acquisition equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on aerospace operational systems and instruments.
- Record, analyze, and interpret test data to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technical personnel to support aerospace testing and operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards during all operations.
- Participate in the development and testing of new aerospace technologies and methodologies.
- Document procedures, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with aerospace systems, testing, and operations.
- Proficiency in operating test and measurement instruments, including simulators and data acquisition systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex test data.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and best practices in aerospace safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Certification in relevant aerospace technologies is a plus.
