Job Brief

The Aerial Gunner plays a critical role in supporting military operations by performing in-flight duties essential for the successful execution of combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue missions. This position requires experience in operating aircraft communications and detection equipment, as well as proficiency in maintaining aircraft weapons, defensive systems, and in-flight refueling systems. Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment to establish satellite linkages and disrupt enemy communications.
  • Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment.
  • Maintain and operate aircraft weapons and defensive systems to ensure mission readiness.
  • Execute in-flight refueling procedures to support extended mission operations.
  • Implement aircraft safety and emergency protocols to manage potential in-flight incidents.
  • Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and special equipment.
  • Conduct cargo and personnel drops accurately and safely during missions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military training in aerial gunnery preferred.

  • Proven experience in operating aircraft communication systems and weapons.
