Job Brief

As a Wildlife Biologist, you will conduct comprehensive studies on the origins, behavior, diseases, genetics, and life processes of various animal species and wildlife. Responsibilities

  • Conduct field research to observe and document wildlife behavior and population dynamics.
  • Collect and analyze biological data to evaluate the health and status of wildlife populations.
  • Develop and implement wildlife management plans based on research findings.
  • Collaborate with conservation organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders on wildlife-related projects.
  • Monitor the effects of environmental changes and human activities on wildlife habitats.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate research findings and recommendations.
  • Educate the public and community groups about wildlife conservation efforts and sustainable practices.
  • Stay updated on current research, trends, and regulations in wildlife biology and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in wildlife management software and GIS technology.
  • Excellent communication skills for report writing and public presentations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Fieldwork experience in various environmental conditions and ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of federal and state wildlife regulations and conservation policies.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field research.
