Job Brief
The Tree Trimmer Helper supports tree care professionals in maintaining the health and aesthetic of trees and landscape areas. This entry-level position involves assisting with tree trimming, pruning, and removal tasks while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities
- Assist tree trimmers with pruning, trimming, and cutting trees and shrubs.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and hand tools.
- Ensure job sites are safe and clean by removing debris and disposing of waste properly.
- Help transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations to minimize risks.
- Learn and apply basic arboriculture techniques under the guidance of experienced professionals.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tree care practices and landscaping techniques.
- Ability to operate power tools and machinery safely.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
