Job Brief
As a Tourist Escort, you will guide individuals and groups on sightseeing tours, showcasing prominent landmarks, cultural sites, and places of interest, including industrial establishments and art galleries. Responsibilities
- Lead guided tours for individuals and groups, providing insightful commentary and engaging narratives.
- Coordinate logistics for tours, including transportation and scheduling visits to various attractions.
- Maintain knowledge of local history, culture, and attractions to enhance the tour experience.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests during tours.
- Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Promote and sell tour packages and additional services to guests.
- Gather feedback from participants to improve future tours.
- Adapt tours based on the interests and needs of guests, ensuring a personalized experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tourist Escort or in a similar role in the travel and tourism industry.
- Strong knowledge of local attractions, history, and culture.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage groups and maintain a positive atmosphere during tours.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
