Job Brief
As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing challenges with alcohol, drugs, gambling, and eating disorders. Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Current licensure or certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor (e.g., CADC, LADC).
- Proven experience in counseling individuals with substance use disorders.
- Strong understanding of addiction treatment methodologies and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of local resources and support services related to substance abuse and recovery.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in practice.
- Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
