- Document and maintain records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterilized instruments for procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in sterile processing preferred.
- Proven experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
- Familiarity with various types of medical and laboratory equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification from a recognized organization (e.g., CBSPD, IAHCSMM) is a plus.
