Job Brief
The Staff Operations Command Center Watch Officer is responsible for managing the operation of essential communications, detection, and weapons systems to ensure effective control of air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a high level of expertise in crisis management, emergency response coordination, and surveillance system operation. Responsibilities
- Manage critical communication links between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure seamless operations.
- Formulate and implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios.
- Coordinate emergency response teams and relevant agencies during incidents.
- Evaluate command center information and facilitate high-level military and government reporting.
- Operate and manage surveillance and detection systems to monitor ongoing operations.
- Provide technical information and advice on capabilities and operational readiness.
- Direct the operation of weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems.
- Conduct training and simulations to ensure team preparedness for emergency situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Military Science, Emergency Management, or Information Technology.
- Experience in military operations, command center management, or crisis response.
- Proficient in operating advanced surveillance and communication systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of military protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration across agencies.
- Certifications in emergency management or military operations are highly desirable.
