Job Brief
The School Curriculum Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative instructional materials and educational content that meet the diverse needs of students and educators. Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive curriculum materials aligned with state and national educational standards.
- Collaborate with educators to assess and enhance existing curricula and instructional programs.
- Integrate technology into curriculum development to promote engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for teachers on curriculum implementation and best practices.
- Evaluate and select instructional resources and tools that support curriculum goals.
- Monitor and assess curriculum effectiveness through feedback and student performance data.
- Stay updated on educational trends, research, and policies to inform curriculum decisions.
- Work with educational consultants and specialists to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development or instructional design.
- Strong understanding of educational standards, assessment methods, and instructional strategies.
- Proficiency in using technology tools and software for curriculum design and delivery.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and stakeholders.
- Experience in training and coaching teachers in curriculum implementation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess curriculum effectiveness and make data-driven improvements.
- Certification in curriculum development or instructional design preferred.
