As a Well Services Operator, you will play a critical role in enhancing oil production and ensuring operational efficiency within the oil and gas industry. You will operate specialized equipment designed to increase oil flow from producing wells and effectively manage obstructions in drilling operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain well service equipment to optimize oil production and manage well integrity.
- Perform fishing operations to remove stuck pipe, casing, tools, or other obstructions from wells.
- Conduct thorough inspections and routine maintenance on all equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Collaborate with the drilling team to assess well conditions and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Document operational activities and provide detailed reports on well performance and issues encountered.
- Adhere strictly to safety regulations and industry best practices to promote a safe work environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians in well services operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Oil and Gas or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in well services operations or related roles within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for operating complex equipment.
- Familiarity with fishing tools, coiled tubing, and pressure control equipment.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to remote job sites as needed.
