Job Brief
The Well Service Pump Equipment Operator is responsible for operating specialized equipment to enhance oil flow from production wells and for efficiently removing stuck pipe, casing, tools, or other obstructions from drilling wells. Responsibilities
- Operate well service pump equipment to optimize oil production and well intervention activities.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on pump equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of fishing operations to retrieve stuck or lost equipment.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance and make adjustments as necessary for safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute well service projects in accordance with industry standards.
- Document all service activities and maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental regulations during all operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in oil and gas well service operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills related to pump equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the oil and gas industry.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments and under various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with field personnel.
