Terrible patient experience. The minute you enter they try to demand payment with no prior notification and without running through insurance. Their billing is outrageous – marking up procedures to astronomical amounts. They treat patients with distain and demand money without cause. I was bullied before a major procedure – it felt like being robbed. Do Not go here. Very sketchy and very bad. GW holds a prestigious reputation and heritage, but this facility feels like entering a prison. Don’t place your trust (or your money)here.

I have now been here 3 hours since checkin for a routine colonoscopy. It’s disrespectful of the time for both the patient and the required driver. The staff are nice, but this is ridiculous.

Very good surgery experience – I felt safe and in good hands. I had a panic attack at the end of the nerve block placement but the anesthesiologist was kind and understanding.
Milly, a nurse in the post-op department was especially amazing. She was attentive and had a wonderful bedside manner. The best nurse I’ve ever had in a hospital setting. Thank you, Milly!!
