Job Brief
The Missile Combat Crew member in Space and Missile Operations is responsible for managing personnel and overseeing weapons operations aimed at neutralizing enemy threats, including positions, aircraft, and vessels. Responsibilities
- Plan, target, and coordinate the tactical deployment of field artillery and air defense artillery missile systems.
- Direct the establishment and operation of fire control communications systems for effective missile guidance.
- Target and launch intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) in response to operational directives.
- Oversee the storage and handling of nuclear munitions and components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Manage security protocols for weapons storage and launch facilities to protect sensitive assets.
- Ensure the maintenance and operational readiness of weapons systems through regular inspections and training.
- Coordinate with military personnel and other agencies to execute mission objectives effectively.
- Conduct training exercises to enhance combat readiness and operational efficiency within the crew.
Requirements
- Proven experience in missile operations or a related field, with a strong understanding of military tactics and strategy.
- Technical proficiency in missile system technology and fire control systems.
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances for handling classified information and munitions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
