Job Brief
As a Semiconductor Assembler, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing of electronic semiconductors. This position involves loading semiconductor materials into furnaces, sawing formed ingots, and monitoring crystal growth processes. Responsibilities
- Load semiconductor materials into furnaces and set operational parameters.
- Utilize saws to segment formed ingots into precise pieces for further processing.
- Load individual segments into crystal growing chambers and diligently monitor control systems.
- Locate crystal axes in ingots using x-ray equipment and accurately saw ingots into wafers.
- Clean, polish, and load wafers into specialized furnaces, chemical baths, and processing equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety and quality control standards in a cleanroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of production processes and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production workflows and troubleshoot any operational issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in semiconductor assembly or similar manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with semiconductor processing equipment and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Basic understanding of x-ray equipment and wafer processing methodologies.
