Job Brief
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a crucial role in assessing patient health problems, developing and implementing effective nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patient health status and needs to develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer nursing care and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.
- Monitor and document patient progress, response to treatments, and any changes in condition.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and improve outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Provide case management support and advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with nursing practices.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or registration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable.
- Proven experience in a clinical nursing role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of nursing care standards, procedures, and protocols.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient assessment skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification; advanced certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical documentation.
