I went to unemployment assistant becouse the company laid us off due to being sold, at YPIC they told me I couldn’t qualify for the program because my income was to high in the last six months, so I couldn’t take any workshop or intership program, has this happened to anyone else?

Have been to workshops here on how to get a job when I first moved to Yuma and job fairs. Later, i subbed at their alternative high school. I loved the teachers, the secretary, And the principal. The students were all there to LEARN so I experienced nothing but positive things here. I think its a wonderful idea to offer people 16-21 an opportunity for a high schook diploma without having to actually go through “the system”. This is a wonderful school.
