I am very pleased with my experience working with work for schools. I graduated university and wanted more experience in the classroom. The WWS team were very helpful, reassuring me about what to expect but giving me the autonomy to choose where I felt I was best placed. I did some supply with WWS for a year while I was between permanent roles and found Ellis and the whole team to be really helpful, supportive and accommodating of the type of work I was looking for. I never felt pressured into taking a job and always had enough work. They also had regular CPD sessions which was useful. I needed to work part-time, but wanted to keep flexibility week-to- week to fit working around a busy family and personal life. Following the most friendly and reassuring interview I’ve ever had, I started working through Work with Schools in September 2024 and have never regretted the decision. WwS are happy to have you, whether you’re looking for short-term temping, hoping to find the perfect long-term placement, or anything in between. Personal individual availability is submitted to WwS and they get in touch with possible placements as and when they arise, which for me has certainly been as often as I want. Tax, NI and pension contributions are dealt with by the team with helpful tips, reminders and advice sent regularly. CPD is offered at all levels and training sessions are well-targeted and appropriate. There are occasional socials too, to help us all feel more an integrated part of the whole while allowing that all-important opportunity to put the face to the voice. All the staff are very professional and efficient while remaining helpful, warm, approachable and understanding. I really didn’t think I’d find work that would meet my needs; I’ve never been more happy to be wrong!
