I am a consultant in emergency medicine and sometimes I do locum shifts in other states. Grace, who works with LocumBank, is my agent. It’s like having a personal assistant; she’s just amazing. She only approaches me with potential posts for dates that I am actually available and which are consistent with my qualifications. She actively promotes me and negotiates very effectively on my behalf. She sorts our all of the, sometimes voluminous, paperwork on my behalf. It really feels like she is working for me, even more than LocumBank, or the hospital or even herself. She is an absolute gem.
My previous experiences with locum agencies in both in Australia and the UK have been awful in so many ways; I know when I’m well off.

I am a senior medical specialist (psychiatrist) who for the last 2 years has used the services of IMR to arrange hospital locum work for me. I found their service to be consistently excellent over this time. Their list of available locum vacancies is always very up-to-date and accurate. I particularly like the fact that I have been assigned a personal worker (Francine) within IMR who has been my go-to-person within the organization now for the entire two years and who does a great job . This makes my communications with IMR very simple and obviously she has got to know what type of locum suits me and what my particular requirements are. All of this saves me time and greatly increases the efficiency of matching me with suitable positions . I also like the fact that IMR arranges payment very promptly indeed and all the admin stuff seems to happen with a minimum of fuss.
