I advise you to avoid any kind of cooperation with this office.
After receiving my cv, they think it’s normal to send a 12 hour assignment that looks more like their current jobs than testing potential candidates. The 12 hours was of course given so that there would be no way for me to complete this work in the specified time, because realistically, the tasks they specified take much longer to complete.
Had to prepare 3 different Facebook posts, in two languages, about the news of their client – Eucerin.
In the next task, it was necessary to localize the texts and prepare a back translation into English for another client – Dacia.
Next came 3 tasks for Samsung, where I had to provide not only a new slogan for wireless devices, but also a text for a 30-second advertisement for the new Galaxy Watch4, both in two languages, understandable. As if that wasn’t enough, I have to create a google ad for these products as well.
And then, as the cherry on top of their shameless scheme to defraud job seekers – the localization of Purina’s ProPlan press ad text. The advertising text was given in English, which should be translated into Latvian.
Since I had not even met this cantor or the CEO mentioned by him – Jānis Penci, it is understandable that I refused to fulfill even one of these tasks. Instead, I offered to complete a task unrelated to their production to evaluate my skills. I did not receive a response to this offer, and all our e-mail correspondence was deleted.
It doesn’t take a genius to realize that this office is just using job seekers as free labor, thus providing cheaper services to their clients. In this case – Publicis Group.
