We retained Waterstone Human Capital for a Vice President, eCommerce & Marketing search. They put a junior level team member, who had recently migrated from another country on our search. We spent 6 months working with them and over 100 hours constantly trying to explain the specific traits we needed in a candidate, but they just couldn’t quite “get it”. The CEO, Marty Parker, was on the last call and when i voiced my dissatisfaction he proceeded to yell at me. We have 0 tolerance for verbal abuse at our firm so i hung up. As this was a retained fee based search we paid them over $60,000 with 0 results.
