This place is amazing for shopping and photos, but some small vendors don’t take cards. Also, if you go during the day, it can be really hot, better to visit after sunset. So many interesting stalls and the architecture is gorgeous. Everyone was friendly, and we didn’t feel pressured to buy anything. Great place for gifts. Otherwise, a great place to explore and eat!

A traditional but clean market with all the amenities of the modern world. Cobblestone streets, buildings with traditional architecture, restaurants, cafes and dozens of shops selling souvenirs, traditional clothes, spices, handicrafts, perfumes. In the market, small producers selling sweets, food and homemade juices.
A special section is the bird market, where there are dozens of types of colorful birds.
An interesting place, a must-visit! Crowded, in the evening.

You can find anything here. The beginning of the east side is where most of the souvenirs are to be found. Usually fair prices. There are some nice regional restaurants as well. Photos are only from the outside of the souk. Inside, there are typical narrow passages with plenty of shops offering regional spices, cashmere, gold, toys, etc.
