As a retired employee of the Arlington Employment Center/Arlington County Department of Human Services,I must say that the staff is very dedicated in assisting all customers and clients in furthering their goals of obtaining Employment along with career training and assistance from a one on one Employment Services Case Manager.

They ask u to fill out a form for employment services and then u are supposed to see someone. No one but me was sitting here to wait to see someone. And It took more than an hour for me to be seen. People have lives. Instead of continuing computer work in an office, would it not be more productive to deal with the person that is present waiting on you verses continuing with paperwork that can be finished after dealing with the person in your presence. So unprofessional and I see why people don’t utilize these services more.

I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone for a week now. I haven’t been able to speak to a live person nor have I been able to get a messages returned. I also have left a voicemail. I also cannot get in contact with VEC 1800 or 1866 number that is why local offices are available for that exact reason, but NOPE can’t get in contact with them either
