Decided to post a review, urged on by fellow calgarians on my experience here. My first therapist, accused me of lying, and whipped out her laptop to see if I did lie. (I didn’t) I wrote it off, cause it was her last day. She recommended her own therapist. Jody. Which I had worked for a short time. (2 appointments max) I wanted to get an appointment in May, I went down there an hour early, and she had decided to cancel, and book herself with another client on that same appointment day. While i was going through an incredible tough time. (She had known about this.) I had contacted the supervisor, through email to get a new therapist. Since it wasn’t working out to no response, (my mother had also attempted to leave a message aswell.) Three months had passed, since Jody had cancelled, and emailed me yesterday to see if I wanted to see her still. THREE MONTHS LATER. So I emailed her stating we weren’t a good fit. Today she had emailed me a response. She was closing the file. And that I can get a referral back when I needed to. So no new therapist, even though I needed one to see. For someone with a mental illness that has an incredibly high statisitic of not making it to 30. Shame on you for disallowing me to get a therapist that works for me, and my needs.

I would love to give this organization 5 starts. Their mission is great, front staff is great, their instructors are great, the facilities are decent. However, our enjoyment is being impacted by the twerpy lifeguard staff frequently enforcing arbitrary “rules” (which aren’t posted on their large and obvious rule boards). It would be easy for me to turn this 1star into a 5star review, but treating me and my toddler like a problem warrents the low rating (when we’re peacefully using the facilities and not impacting a single other patron). The lifeguard staff need to give their head a shake and reevaluate the rigidity of their approach, communication, and response.

This Business needs H&F (Honest and Famous) Review. I would like to review this place with my full heart. Explained 5th Star Taken off: Building is old and crumbling. No new money is spent to freshen up this place. 4th star taken off: I highly think of favoritism going on in this place. I was in the website in first 20 seconds to register my daughter for the next lessons and she went to waiting list. Her friends got selected even they registered 2 hours after. 3rd Star taken off: Very rigid behavior of teachers. They will fail you and keep you in same class. I was shocked to see a much much better kid swimming was failed just to keep in the same class. Not sure if they Flag the names. 2nd Star taken off: Pay a little more (little) as these are also not inexpensive and you can find a much better Facility. Parking spots are minimal and parking area is way way to small for any SUV size, even a small crossover. 1 Star given: They deserve a Zero star rating but would like to mention 1 good thing that I noticed is the front staff. Even you call them or talk to them personally they are really good at their work. Conclusion: I as a father expect my kid to grow in levels even there is a significant improvement plus the broken reservation system and failing kids in the class is high here.
