I have been trying to get my tax refund from this place for TWO months. A month ago they promised they would mail it to my correct address (which I made sure they had). I waited and it never came. I drove all the way to their office in person…and they closed early. Yes, before their business hours they were out of the office, doors locked, lights off, leaving the “open” sign in the window. 4:50pm on a Monday and I was standing outside to no answer. Two cars (presumably employees) left the lot and saw me standing in the rain knocking on the door. It is bad business practice to close 10 minutes early and leave when I called to say I’d be coming by before they closed today to pick it up. It should have been mailed in the first place. I didn’t want to waste gas or time driving over to their office to pick it up, their office hours don’t work with my schedule, which is why I wanted them to mail it to me in the first place. Leaving the office early before your business hours is super unhelpful and inconvenient. I have had to waste time, gas, and effort just trying to get a simple document so I can do my taxes. I do not recommend working with them, as an someone who has been hired as an employee through them- because you’ll waste time, money, and energy trying to get a simple document due to lack of prompt or timely administrative skills at their office. It should not be this difficult to get a tax return from a staffing agency.

After this quote “I didn’t ask you to wait on me. NO one was interested in you. Don’t text me again. I’m too busy with candidates with solid work histories.” I’ll never recommend. This was unprofessional. I moved to the area leaving a leadership position in order to care for elderly family. Went back to school and worked odd jobs to relocate. I’m very happy with the treatment I found with Manpower and they found the perfect match for my new credentials. Tell Priscilla at Manpower I recommended her. She is honest and caring.
