Wonderful Agency, Wonderful Experience! I don’t normally write reviews however, after seeing these negative reviews from friends of a nanny who did not get the job she wanted, I had to comment. These are not even real reviews!! THIS IS A FORM OF BULLYING!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves. We had the best experience with this agency. The owners are professional, kind and very helpful. They found us our amazing nanny and we could not be happier. I recommend them all the time to anyone in need of their services. Truly a 5 star business that DESERVES a 5 star review.

Edited to add: This is NOT a spam review. While it is true that I personally have never worked with Tri State Domestic, I feel it is important to alert the public of the events that transpired here. It seems that all the negative reviews just say Tri State Domestic is rude and unprofessional. The point of this review is to tell you exactly WHY he is rude and unprofessional. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and look at his response calling us “troll friends” and posting a nanny’s personal information (which is also against Google’s rules-way to pick and chose which rules to follow, Mark). Please think: if this is how he handles sensitive information of “employees” then how will he handle YOUR information if he decides he doesn’t like you. Please reconsider working with Tri State Domestic. Mark, the owner of this “fine” company (please note the heavy sarcasm), has really made an enemy out of an INTERNATIONAL nanny community with over 6,000 members. It all started when one of our most loved and respected members asked for feedback after a family decided to go with another child care option after a seemingly perfect interview. He denied her request with a short email that read “No. Let it go.” HIGHLY unprofessional for the owner of an agency. In the nanny community, nannies look to agencies as a advocate. Someone who will always stay by their side. Good agencies have good nannies that continue to make their clients happy. Let me tell you, telling a nanny to “let it go” is NOT a way to keep a good nanny. When word got out a few of our fellow nannies wrote some reviews just to not only let clients know, but other nannies just how unprofessional Mark really is. He then called the nanny and threatened her with legal action even noting “this is why I don’t work with you people.” I guess we can only insinuate what “you people” mean but it may be worth mentioning that this particular nanny is a woman of color. This infuriated even more nannies so the negative reviews started pouring in. Mark eventually felt the need to shut down his original Tri State Domestic page. There was one particular nanny who reviewed his company, that he sent a message to threatening legal action, though the nanny did nothing wrong but write a review. Mark from Tri State Domestic is certainly not a pleasure to work with, and really shouldn’t be in business. There are plenty of fine household staffing agencies in New York, Tri State Domestic is not one of them.

I have personally known the owners for 8 years and find them to be highly professional and reputable in the conduct of their business. I utilized their services to place an estate manager for one of my clients in Tuxedo Park, NY and they did an exceptional job. I highly recommend this agency.
