I had the privilege of working with Chief Phillips during my transfer process to the USCG. Navigating the complexities of this transfer was no small task, especially as the USCG now embraces the idea of accepting doctors outside of the traditional Public Health Service—a significant shift from its historical practice. Despite the challenges, Chief Phillips’ dedication and expertise were unwavering, ensuring that every detail of my application was handled with precision and care. Thanks to his tireless efforts, I’m thrilled to say that I am officially joining the USCG, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional service and support I received throughout this journey.

I would like to express my extreme satisfaction with the exceptional service I received from CPO Moises Nunez during my recent DCO commissioning process. From the very beginning, YNC was professional, knowledgeable, incredibly helpful and responsive. Chief Nunez was able to answer all my questions, no matter how complex, and provided me with sound advice and recommendations. He also kept me informed of every progress update and proactively addressed any concerns I had along the way. Thanks to Chief’s outstanding support, the DCO commissioning process was smooth and stress-free. I was able to complete everything on time and I am thrilled with the final outcome. So, a big shout-out to both Chief Nunez and the whole USCG recruiting office! They are doing great things!

CPO Moises Nunez and PO1 Ruben Ramirez did an outstanding job in helping me accomplish one of my life long dreams of earning a commission into the USCG. I was able to work with them virtually as I am AD USAF stationed outside the US. I was nervous on how communication would be, but the process went smoothly. Mr. Nunez has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the DCO recruiting process. He was encouraging every step of the way. I highly recommend this recruiting office and I hope USCG recruiting command realizes the positive impact they have in the community!
