Upon entering TPI in Keene, I was not greeted and after I said who I was I was acknowledged with an annoyed face by the receptionist. Mind you, she only even looked at me once I talked. I have anxiety to a disabling degree so thanks for making me so uncomfortable I wanted to leave before I even stepped in! She then handed me a stack of papers and said to fill them out and return them to her, papers which asked for my social and permission to use my photos and “likeness” in, and I quote, “ANY” way they want. Any, meaning if something negative were to occur I couldn’t claim slander, I couldn’t say I don’t want my photo with a company I don’t agree with, etc. I told the receptionist I was going to pass and she asked what bothered me and I thought for a second oh maybe we got off on the wrong foot, well I just told her it was weird to give a company my social without explanation or even meeting someone and she said ok very annoyed again, and looked away like I didn’t matter. It’s hard for me to find jobs due to my disabilities, and I cried when I got home so that was awesome. Awesome being sarcastic. Entirely.
