We stayed here for 3 nights from Australia over 4 July 2025. The hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. The hotel is well appointed and doesn’t feel too busy. We were worried about hotels in the area being noisy and overrun with people (no experience if that is the case but the Westin does not have an over busy feel). Importantly for us there were sufficient lifts. Many American hotels we have stayed in you wait ages for lifts. We chose a park view room because of the time of year. The experience was better than expected. After a long flight from Sydney we watched Disney fireworks from our room and each night the same. On 4 July we could see fireworks in the distance for over an hour which was amazing along with fantastic Disney fireworks. We didn’t want to have to return to Disney in crowds to see fireworks and the room allowed us go have that experience. It’s easy to walk to downtown and Disney, we believe there is also public transport close but we didn’t use it. The in room dining is quick and tasty and breakfast is good for a hotel. The pool although smaller than expected was nice for a swim after Disney. Our only issue was the showers aren’t amazing in terms of pressure. I also do wish American hotels had a kettle but we brought one with us for a cup of tea. There is an in room fridge and the bathroom is over size which is also very cool. The hotel staff are lovely and not in your face too much. We highly recommend it. The park view you can literally hear the screams on the roller coaster in front of you which is so much fun to watch. We took ages deciding on a hotel here and were very happy with the choice. Disney hotels felt too much and we knew jet lag would mean we would not be able to wake up for the extra time benefit in park. The walk is slightly longer than a few other chain hotels but the extra few hundred metres is worth it. It’s an easy walk to some super markets and restaurants with a Mexican and steak place in building.

We’ve been staying at the Westin Anaheim Resort regularly since it opened, and it has consistently delivered a five-star experience every time. This hotel blends modern luxury with warm, attentive service in a way that few properties manage to do—especially in such a busy tourist area. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately maintained. The Westin Heavenly Bed is, as always, a standout, and the park view rooms are especially worth booking—you get a fantastic view of the Disneyland fireworks right from your room, which adds a touch of magic to your stay. The Club Lounge is another major highlight. It’s quiet, elegant, and well-stocked throughout the day with high-quality continental breakfast, wine, snacks, and evening champagne —not to mention excellent service and great views. It’s one of the best executive lounges in the area. William, the concierge, deserves special recognition. He has gone above and beyond for us time and again—offering expert recommendations, remembering preferences, and always making guests feel truly welcome. William is a big reason we choose the Westin Anaheim over other options, and his level of service is rare even at top-tier hotels. Location-wise, it’s incredibly convenient—just a 15 minute walk to Disneyland, which is only about 5 minutes more than the much pricier (and frankly less stylish) Disney property hotels. For the comfort, quality, and savings, the Westin is a no-brainer. This hotel has become our default home base in Anaheim, whether we’re in town for work or fun. It’s everything you want in a luxury stay, with a personal touch that keeps you coming back. Five stars, every time.

Really amazing hotel, very friendly staff, especially William in the lounge! The rooms are very nice and super clean, we stayed in a one King suite with a Parkview and are very happy. If you’re platinum+, you get access to the lounge and the food is great. the breakfast was very tasty and their hors d’oeuvres from 4 to 6 are good enough to substitute for a full meal. It was such a pleasure to have William greet us each morning, he was very friendly and welcoming. The walk to the main entrance at Disneyland is a little bit long at around 15 to 20 minutes depending on how quickly you walk so please factor that in. There are buses that run which you can try and take as they pull directly into the hotel in the mornings. In the afternoon, they stop on Katella. Get off at Disneyland drive; you have to cross from the opposite corner of the street but it’s much closer than the convention centre stop. A family of 4 was $11. Cheaper to walk but the bus saved a lot of steps on day 2 when we were a bit tired from the previous days fun. If you ever have packages delivered to your hotel, just know that the UPS on site handles that as a service it cost $5 USD. Another note would be the restaurants on site. Haven’t tried them yet but for what I’ve read the food is average and the prices are above average. We’ve been eating at restaurants down the street instead and I found some very affordable and tasty options closer to the CVS and Walgreens Overall, a really good hotel and 100% recommend staying here if you have the opportunity
