I worked with Brent a few years ago. Whether it takes 1 week, 2 months or 7 months, he’ll get you a job eventually if you follow his instructions. It’s up to you to work hard to implement the methods he teaches.
In my opinion, the biggest value in working with him is the important career/life skills (or “hacks” if you will) you will learn from Brent along the way. Looking back, I’ve learnt so much about networking, writing, and communication, that benefitted HUGELY in all areas of my life. I have literally met (and now know) thousands of people working in DC–many of whom are very senior in government–since I met Brent. Before Brent, I knew no one as I had just moved to the city for the first time. Frankly, I didn’t know how to make these connections.
I don’t know what TOTH charges now, but in my opinion, the value of working with him is worth at least thousands of dollars. There are many “little” things (like how to do cover letters and resumes well, how to market yourself, etc.) that you will learn. Those tips may not seem immediately beneficial, but they are.
