(7/1 @ 3:15pm) I’m really disappointed in the woman who answered the phone regarding an appointment. I called today to try and make an appointment for my son’s tongue tie. The woman who answered initially started nicely then turned condescending when my worry set in about not being able to make an appointment with the recommended doctor. She kept pushing about a referral but even with that, wouldn’t be able to help because the doctor is unavailable (understandable). She recommended a different office (which ended up being super amazing and let me know a referral is NOT required and they don’t know why she kept pushing that idea). As former customer service and phone operator for a business, conduct is everything. To have an office assistant give me anxiety and panic in under 5 minutes based on her tone, it doesn’t make me interested in recommending the location. As I tell my students, make better choices. Do better.

Hello whoever is thinking of coming to this place please beware. They call cps just because. My friends child was brought here because a small mark that they wanted to get an answer to what it was. The available doctor “ramgram” called cps and is making that family go threw unnecessary steps. I personally know that family and the mother and father work very hard, they have 2 other children who have been to this facility before. No issues. This doctor did not know them and didn’t seem to even care. They were just told o well if theres nothing happening then you and your kid will be fine.They were never provided with an answer of what was wrong with the kid just that it may or may not be something. Unless you like cps then go ahead go here they will try to get your kids taken away.

We love Dr. Diep! He is the best pediatrician we’ve had and tried several here. He is the PCP for all three of my kiddos.The nurse that comes from out of town I wish I knew her name is sweet too. Marco is helpful, but the girls at the front are not very friendly or helpful. I had two sick kids today. I scheduled a sick child appointment this morning for my son. There was tons of availability and I highly recommend using mychart to schedule appointments. However, I dropped off my baby at the babysitter and learned she too was sick. So, I picked her up and wanted to add my daughter into an appointment and told her my child’s appointmennt time to hopefully schedule them close together. (There was a lot of openings I had seen from home, but hadn’t registered my baby yet for MyChart). The unfriendly front desk person said she had nothing open until 4:30PM. We come from Borrego Springs so explained that is a long window from 9:40AM to wait with two kids 3 and under throwing up. I asked where the urgent care center was nearby again and she said they had one in Chula Vista, Oceanside and Escondido. She said I could transfer me to another location and it was disconnected. So, I got smart and decided to use my other child’s account to try to see if there was any closer available openings at Carmel Mountain Ranch or Gateway Poway close together. The Gateway Poway had several other available times. I booked my daughter under my other daughter’s name. Dr.Moreira was great and helpful in seeing both kids back to back. She was thorough and didn’t rush me despite my son being difficult. I was very upset the front office said they didn’t have any availability when they clearly did online. I don’t know if they are trying to prioritize online appointments or the front desk girl didn’t want to bother with it. Later when we were brought back to the office I told the doctor and the staff back there. They seemed like it was my error and an accident, but it was not. It was a loophole to get my baby care sooner since I didn’t think her MyChart account had been setup yet.
