Initially I went to store and received great service, on a Friday, when I was purchasing a full uniform and books for my son. 1 week and a day later, on a Saturday, I received the worst service because I was returning the uniforms. They had not been worn and was only tried on. But because I had lost the receipt, the “manager” said it was store policy to give a gift card for store credit. I said I wanted to talk to his boss and he pretends to make a phone call, then comes back and says “yes, that is store policy”. My son will not become a scout for two reasons now; first there is not a troop that meets that fits our current schedule. second because I do not need people like those in the store at that time to be role models. I now have over a hundred dollars on a gift card that I have no need for. I will end up donating it to a boy scout troop near me and write it off as learning lesson. Would not recommend anybody to follow the moto– “be prepared” when purchasing items, cause there is no returning. No signs posted stating this fact so buyers beware.

I was able to get my sons cub scout gear from the council’s shop. The staff is friendly. If you are looking for uniform pieces, you can check with the office to see if they have donated pieces. I found a clean set of neckerchief and slide for less than a dollar.

The folks who work there are great. If you have questions about what you need with your sons uniform they will help you out with the whole thing. Prices are a little high but thats to be expected. Its always clean and items are easy to find.
