I just applied to two jobs and then I spoke with a recruiter. He looked at my resume and called me back to say he had nothing for me even though I said I applied to the jobs that fit my skill sets. To all people in their 50’s, agism is live and well at the firm. He said he didn’t have the job and did not bother transferring me to the person who handles the job recs. Will be reporting them for age discrimination.
