I worked with M+P about 4-5 years ago and had a great experience. I was brought in for an interview, was contacted multiple times throughout the process about jobs and ended up in a position that lasted up until last year. The staff was super helpful and personable. They even sent me a card on my birthday.
I don’t know if it’s due to COVID or staff changes, but when I reached out in October, I had a completely different experience. The recruiter I was matched with missed multiple phone screen meetings with me and couldn’t manage to call my correct phone number. (not someone you want in your corner when searching for a job)
I was moved to someone else and did an initial phone screen, and I haven’t heard from anyone from M+P in almost 4 months. This is disappointing since they really brand themselves as being different from most recruitment agencies, and in my past experience this was the case. So far, I haven’t gotten even a status update.
I understand the job market is much different now than it was a few years ago, but from a customer service perspective, I am not impressed with how I’ve been treated this time around. Now that I’ve been ghosted, I can add M+P to the list of agencies that see me as a number and not a person.
