I signed up with Temp Recruitment over a year ago and it was easy to do. The interview was done quickly and then I was told about jobs going, unfortunately most were very far away from where I live and would take 2-3 hours to get to. However there were 1-2 positions that were accessible by bus. I tried to convince the recruiter I could make it to these jobs but she just said “Nope” and put a line through them on the paper. I was supposed to here back from the worker but never did, then I emailed and she told me about jobs going for the council, I asked her to put my name down for them but I never heard anything after that other than an email asking if I had minute taking experience. I told them I didn’t have extensive experience but could learn. This was the last correspondence I had from Temp Recruitment. It’s an ok agency to sign up with but a simple “Sorry you were not successful” or “Your a loser nobody wants to hire you” or any explanation would be better than no explanation at all. It’s kind of ironic that I am jobless now and I live right near this agency and I see them pull up in their nice cars and looking well dressed.

Unfortunately this branch of the agency I’ve signed with sometime ago regarding a “council position” Once I signed up nothing was heard back, no further positive communication from them at all, nothing. However I did find the same advert advertised for several weeks later… Nothing positive, nothing gained Also temp team that was situated in Newton aycliffe is also unsupporting, but I can’t see any listing here for them.

I would probably give this agency a miss. It is easy to sign up with them but they don’t really seem to concerned with finding you work. They make you feel like that finding employment is not a priority, more just of a “Let’s just sit and wait and see what happens”.
