I was called for a 15-minute virtual interview (first red flag) for a Senior Administrative Assistant position. I asked if I could know a little more about about the position before accepting the interview, the response was “Like what?” (Second red flag). I joined the video call on the specified date and time. The interviewer’s first words “Um, Sheila, you applied for the Senior Administrative Assistant position, right? Well, that position has been filled and I think the girl (Third red flag) started today. I think there is another position, but I don’t think you qualify for it ( paraphrasing). I’ll keep your resume on file.” Interview over in three minutes. Unprofessional, unprepared, unbelievable.
