If you are reading reviews of “financial planners” I urge you to do your research and find a fee based financial planner instead. Stifel Nicholas is not a fee based service. They instead take your money and enroll it in accounts that pay the highest fee to them. Thus not creating much retirement wealth for you and your family. I was young and trusted my “advisor” to do the right thing. But I have since learned the terminology and how it effects my money. If you do use Stifel Nicolas (like I did) and eventually see the light (please find someone to do a monte carlo analysis on you). Then you will need to roll those accounts somewhere else. Stifel Nicholas will charge you a large fee to close those account, even if they have had them for 10 years! Be cautious people, this financial institute doesn’t have your best interest at heart.
