LIVID. Wasted a whole month of my time. For starters, was scheduled for an interview(virtually) where I waited two hours and never was interviewed. A week later decided to give them a second chance since I know technology issues occur. Was offered a position. I was extremely motivated and excited, turned down two other jobs because I really wanted this position even though the other positions paid more. I wanted to work here because I had a great connection with my interviewer. After receiving my onboarding I realized that this was a temp agency. No big deal. I can prove my worth. However, they did an unauthorized Background check and used an incident that happened to me when I was 14 years old against me and rescinded their offer. The incident was Adjudicated and should have never flagged. Furthermore, that was 22 years ago. It triggered an anxiety attack and I’m very disappointed. I turned down other offers and my time was wasted. My advice for others. Know your worth, stay true to yourself, and remember employers need you so bet on an employer that will bet on you.

They will literally get your hopes up from contacting making you feel like things are going to go in your favor. Even will have you convinced that a job is going to consider you. I am glad I didn’t quit the job that I am currently at being as though I was going to based on how the recruiter made me feel. She made me feel as though I was a good fit. Even told me that I was the only candidate being considered for this position. Then today I get a call from the recruiter stating that the job was going in a different direction. For all that they could have just left me alone and I would have moved forward with my job search process. This company will waste your time.

I had never heard of this company before. I had a terrible experience with them. I would give them 0 stars. I was contacted by Sterling staff person Falashia Logar via phone and email on Dec. 21st 2018. I missed her call and immediately called her back. She stated that she was on the line with someone else and would call back. I never heard from her again. I said ok. It’s the holiday season. I’ll call back after the holidays. I emailed on January 10, 2019. She asked me to send her my resume. This was surprising because on Dec. 21st she said that she had reviewed my resume. I sent her my resume. She called back in less than 5 minutes and said that they didn’t have anything and would keep my resume on file. I looked on their website. There are plenty of jobs that I would qualify for. I’ll reach out to those companies directly. I have bachelors, masters, many certifications and years of work experience. They reached out to me and should have been more professional. I will be dropping the owner of this company a note as well.
