I can’t speak highly enough of my experience working with the team at Specialty Medical Staffing! I honestly think that they’re one of the best kept secrets for pharmacists looking to for a flexible work schedule and a supportive scheduling team who advocate for you to clients. The scheduling team has excellent communication, and the process for payment and travel reimbursements is a breeze. I have formed friendships with some of the colleagues I’ve had the pleasure of working with on my assignments, and this has been a fun way to get experience with a broad variety of prescription processing programs and workflows. During the pandemic, my usual shifts covering for vacations and medical leaves disappeared, and I was fortunate to receive full time employment with a pharmacy that the team at SMS helped place me in. I’ve been working with the SMS for several years now, and I’m thankful that the work they find me sends me to some of the most beautiful places in the state of Washington!
