In mid 2019 I began interviewing 6 development companies – a mix of both domestic and international – for my large and complex multi-app multi-platform development project involving developers across multiple development frameworks, regions and time zones. As a result of my interviews, I chose to outsource the majority of my core project to SourceSoft, including the iOS, Android, and IIS / Dot Net / MS-SQL portions of my project, as well as the User Interface for the iOS, Android, and primary web apps. Outsourcing the majority of the core project freed me to better interact with the development process from a higher level, and to focus my own development efforts on the smaller, individual auxiliary supporting apps and API’s of the project. During the project, the size of the development team SourceSoft assigned to my project varied from 10 to 14 developers across the period of the project. The SourceSoft team members did extraordinary work on my project, frequently going above and beyond. They honored every development agreement. They persisted in keeping development moving forward despite outbreaks of violence in their region and government lockdowns. Over and over, instead of saying “we can’t” in the face of obstacles, they instead took the attitude of “we will find a way” and, indeed, succeeded in that. I was so pleased with their work and persistence that I asked them to add an “about” page to the iOS and Android apps where you can see the names of every developer assigned to the project. People who work this hard with this much skill deserve recognition by name. Visually, the iOS, Android, and web apps they developed for the project are also stunning. They perfectly integrated the company’s logo, color themes, and overall personality into their user interface design. SourceSoft assigned a very friendly and competent project manager to my project, who was a joy to work with and extremely skilled at managing the team. Developing an app is a major and very important expense. I’m very glad I ended up choosing SourceSoft. All we had to do was tell them our idea and they made it into reality; extremely high quality work (developed a unique mobile app game from scratch for Android and IOS platforms ) but with very competitive pricing.
