After being a loyal customer for years and recommending them to many small business owners this company implemented a random $2,500 annual fee with 30 days notice. They rolled out the fee in a poorly written email with no explanation. This is completely out of touch with the challenges small business owners are facing. I unfortunately can no longer endorse Sentinel Group as a company that values their customers.

Requested a distribution from my 401K, was approved on Jan -16-2025 but was told I couldn’t get it direct deposit because their system wasn’t compatible with my bank, accepted the only other option they offered at that time which was getting it mailed to me, check didn’t show so after calling them numerous times and speaking to many associates I was offered a check reissue and having it sent UPS 2 day shipping which cost me an additional fee of $25.00! That was on 2-7-2025 and was told to call on 2-10-2025 to get a tracking number only to told to call back the next day, I’ve called every day since and still no check or tracking number…I felt like these people was holding my money for ransom and now l feel they are a bunch of thieves, I’ve done everything that’s asked of me including bogus fees and they still haven’t paid me. My advice to anybody is to never deal with these liars , I’m feeling like it’s gonna cost me even more money to get legal council to get what’s mine.

They terminated my health benefits via letter and then tried to bill me for the time my benefits were terminated. I had to get health coverage through another avenue due to their error in terminating my policy. The nightmare to fix this is 4 months and counting….Phone call after phone call and the seriousness of the situation was met with basically a shrug and an oh well. Absolutely beyond stressful to almost have a gap in health insurance due to this companies multiple errors.
