I needed a blood test at the surgery before a hospital appointment. Contacted the surgery as soon as I got the letter, over 3 weeks prior to the appointment and couldn’t get it done until 2 days before, which means my consultant will not have the results when I go to the Dilke. The receptionist told me to go to Gloucester hospital if I need to get a test sooner! Not good enough.

This surgery is no longer fit for purpose, I have today rang for a appointment 13th October and told I should ring up at 8.30 am in the morning for a emergency appointment. I said I work then so it’s not possible for me, I would like to just simply make a appointment. I was told there isn’t any until November. The receptionist then told me my employer has to let me go to a doctor’s appointment. I’m not quite sure why I simply can not just book a appointment. You are the worst doctor’s surgery in the forest of dean and I can not wait to switch surgerys which I am sure will not be easy as you are incompetent at best.

Completely inaccessible service – extremely difficult to book an appointment with mostly only telephone appointments and no commitment to a time given for the appointments which makes it very hard to take the call (during working hours) I had an appointment and the doctor called whilst I was in a meeting, I received the text message and replied that I was free – and no response or call! I feel for the elderly and vulnerable who don’t stand a chance of getting access to the NHS through their GP at Brunston. It’s no wonder so many people waste the time and services of A&E by turning up there.
