I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Samsara, a GPS company we have been using since August 15, 2023 Customer ID 9004776. Unfortunately, our experience with their products and customer service has been extremely disappointing. Since the onset of our contract, we have encountered numerous and persistent issues with the GPS equipment provided by Samsara. Several of the GPS systems have not been functioning properly for the past six months, yet we continue to pay for them without receiving adequate service or support. Specifically, we have been unable to hook up two of the GPS systems, as they do not link with the Samsara platform, rendering them effectively useless.
Additionally, we have experienced significant problems with their website, which is frequently slow and plagued by glitches. We had GPS systems hooked up properly and still not transmitting data and this cost us hundreds to thousands of dollars in fees not being able to track our vehicles properly. This not only hampers our ability to access crucial data but also adds to our overall frustration with the service.
We have attempted to resolve these issues by speaking to Samsara’s management, but instead of providing meaningful solutions, they have been unhelpful and have refused to allow us to exit our contract despite the ongoing problems we have faced. Their lack of customer service and support is alarming and raises concerns about the integrity of their business practices.
I strongly urge others to consider the potential pitfalls of entering into a contract with Samsara due to these persistent issues and the level of customer service we have experienced. Given the numerous challenges we have encountered, we are now in the process of transitioning to another software provider and are prepared to pursue this matter to the fullest extent.
